Spain
The Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV) or the "Retirement Visa", this is the ideal choice for those who wish to live in Spain without working, relying on savings or passive income. It requires a monthly income of at least 400% of the Spanish IPREM (approx. €2,400) for a single applicant, plus additional amounts for each family member.

The Spanish version for remote workers and freelancers (DNV). It allows you to live in Spain while working for an employer or clients located outside of Spain. It requires a monthly income of at least 200% of the “minimum Interprofessional salary” (SMI ~€2,849 in 2026) for a single applicant, increasing for dependents.

The choice for residents who have legally lived in Portugal for 5 years and wish to secure their right to remain indefinitely. It allows for absences of up to 24 consecutive months (or 30 intercalated). Requirements include stable financial resources, certified accommodation, and a basic knowledge of the Portuguese language (A2 Level), serving as a gateway to obtaining a Portuguese Passport.
The choice for non-EU citizens who have resided legally in the EU for 5 years and seek to live or work across Member States. It allows absences of up to 12 consecutive months outside the EU and grants the right to move to other EU countries under simplified procedures. Requirements include stable financial resources, health insurance, and, in Portugal, a basic language proficiency (A2 Level).
